This theory is inspired by the "Kiss of 50ma" by Spyfrat's Call of StockMarketPilipinas forum (this post has been updated several times, the last of which was done on April 6, 2017).
Chart Setup:
- 50 simple Moving Average
- BB (50, 0.2)
- Daily RSI(30)
- Weekly RSI(30)
Some added side notes:
- 250 simple Moving Average (to represent weekly 50Ma)
- 10 simple Moving Average may be added to trail and help you start top slicing
The idea is to catch the bounce at 50ma, in conjunction with the cross of RSI(30) above the 50 line. As per Spyfrat's Call experience, the "Kiss of 50ma" on weekly chart will yield better results, thus we plotted the 250ma.
We open BUY trade with these 2 most important conditions:
1. RSI(30) must be over the 50 line
2. Price must be as close as possible, and above the 50MA weekly.
Parabolic State is defined as when the RSI(30) weekly > RSI(30) daily. This is when big moves are happening at Parabolic State. Recently, more emphasis has been given to this PARABOLIC State Status, as this is where the "big moves" are happening.
Let it be known that like all other trading systems, this one is by no means the holy grail or perfect. Past results are not necessarily indicative of future results.

ReplyDeleteHi, can I request a copy of the code for the Weekly RSI plot and overlaid on Daily RSI Chart? I tried coding it, but my Weekly RSI is just an expanded (Square Wave) weekly values overlaid on a daily RSI chart.
